The Manufacturing of the PlayStation 6 Gets Leaked
Alberto Civale
So, as we all know, the PlayStation 5 is one of the greatest consoles out right now. But what if I told you that a leaker has discovered the date that the PlayStation 6 will begin being manufactured.
Background Info
The PlayStation 5 was released on November 12, 2020, and the PlayStation 5 Pro was released on November 7, 2024. Over the past 5 years the PlayStation 5 has sold 80 million units almost beating its previous generation the PlayStation 3 which has 87.4 million units sold. Since the previous PlayStations have had many fans happy with the consoles, they have made many fans excited for the newest PlayStation 6.
About The Leak
The leaker, Moore’s Law Is Dead (MLID), has accessed the documents that confirmed the beginning of the manufacturing process starting in early 2027 and release 2028. MLID hasn’t shown the leaks, but he is a popular leaker who has leaked many things in the past, so he is trusted by the community. MLID also has the possible prices of the console because he found that it could possibly have a smaller size and lower cooling costs which could lead to lower prices than the PlayStation 5 if not a bit more.
Additional Information About the PlayStation 6
Since Sony wants to avoid issues like the Ps5 had on release, they will start manufacturing the console 2027 to have more time to make the console better and make sure there are no errors in it. It should be ready to be released by 2028.
