Heading into this game the 76ers are 4-1 and at the top of the atlantic division being one of the most exciting teams heading into this season Tyrese Maxey their main guy averaging 28.4 points per game and their most valuable piece Joel Embiid having 10 rebounds so far.
The Charlotte Hornets were heavily criticized going into this season based on the lack of talent after trading their franchise piece Lamelo Ball were looking as a bottom 3 team this season. Surprisingly, heading into this game they are 3-2 with their main piece Brandon Miller averaging 25.6 points per game which is a big leap from last season so far. Winning games over the Miami Heat, a highly talented team establishes them as a contender in the east.
