Chicago Bears vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Preview

By: Jaxon Lavandosky

The (6-2) Chicago Bears are looking to gain more momentum as they face off against the  (3-5) Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football at Soldier Field. The Bears are six point favorites as they come in riding a three-game winning streak powered by Caleb Williams who has been lights-out with a 70% completion rate and three straight 30+ point performances. On the flip side, the Bears face a physical Buccaneers team that holds the NFL’s top ranked rushing offense, led by Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell, who have combined for a staggering 584 rushing yards over the last two weeks. This game is going to come down to the trenches. Can the Buc’s run game still dominate without injured star tackle Tristan Wirfs, or will Chicago’s newly acquired powerhouse defensive tackle, Jeffery “Jefe” Simmons, shut things down and force Baker Mayfield to win the game with his injured throwing thumb? This game has great potential and could be one of the most exciting games of the season.
