How to Spend 7 Days in Scotland

By: Michael Grover

If people want to go to Ireland, then I think they should follow this helpful guide on how to spend 7 days in Ireland. Firstly I suggest following a great driving loop that will get people in Dublin, southern historic sites, and both coasts. Day 1 Arrive at the airport and people can go to your hotel by renting a rental car or rent the car first and then explore around and see sights such as taking a tour in the Guinness Storehouse and going to Trinity College to see the famous Book of Kells. When people are done sightseeing around Dublin on day 2 people can spend the evening listening to live music and have some drinks with friends in a traditional Victorian pub such as “The Palace Bar”.

Day 3 people can leave Dublin to stop at the “Rock of Cashel” ruins and take some wonderful pictures as it's a famous historical site in Tipperary County. If a person wishes to kiss, then visit and kiss the famous Blarney Stone. When a person is done with that then they can drive to the very lively town of Killarney in Kerry County for a 2 night stay. Day 4 people have a choice between heading to the Dingle Peninsula or Ring of Kerry or both. By taking the coastal drive you can drive through the scenic Slea Head Drive on the Dingle Peninsula for great ocean views that people just got to take photos of and there are less tour buses taking the route. For the nature stops people can visit the Torc Waterfall or Killarney National park in the Afternoon. In the evening people can head to the hotel and relax.

Day 5-6 people can drive through coastal Greystones and the beautiful Powerscourt Waterfall to cities such as Graiguenamanagh. After spending a few days traveling along the east coast, it's suggested that people go to a peaceful retreat like the Childwall Cottage in the small parish of Listerlin. Just down the road people can grab a small drink at the cozy pub. Day 7 people can head back to Dublin and take a few more drinks at the pubs before leaving at noon. Suggestions say that it's best to arrive at Dublin or Shannon airport 3 hours early since people can go through customs and immigration before flights so it means people can come to the U.S. landing like domestic travelers.

Costs on average from traveling from the United States costs between $1500 and $4150 which includes the pricing of round-trip flights, food, accommodations, certain activities, and the price of transportation. Of course, the cost is based on how a person’s travel style is. Budget travelers (2 people only) will have to pay around $1,400 to $1,950 which includes enough for flights, Hostels, public transportation, and convenience stores for food and water. Mid-range travelers will need to pay about $2500-$3800 which is enough to cover a rental car, restaurant dining, and 3-star hotels. Finally Luxury travelers will need to pay $5,500-$7,500+ based on how rich a person is. That much money is enough to cover a premium rental car, fine dining, and 5-star hotels and suites. That is all for this helpful guide. This should make people not have a hard time deciding whether they want to go to Ireland because of pricing.
