The famous pop singer Olivia Rodrigo has released a new album called You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So In Love, and people have their opinions. According to Reddit and other social media platforms, Olivia’s third album is seen to be “more mature and cohesive with a 1980s vibe.” The album shows the singer’s change in style. Many songs from the album have reached the charts such as “The Cure” and “Stupid Song” taking the nation by storm. An instagram user even posted that “The album received 81.59 Million streams” in just one day on its release date!
As much as the album has been receiving positive feedback, there has been some backlash. According to users on reddit they state, “Although her new album is catchy and moody, we miss her louder, faster pop-punk up beat songs.” Olivia has gone through many phases of music throughout her career with popular fast selling albums such as Sour and Guts. Despite the opinions of some fans, her new album is loved by many with the catchy melodies and deep lyrics. If you get the chance, you should definitely look into them and try and listen!
