After successfully invading Venezuela and capturing their dictator, Nicolas Maduro, Trump has threatened to invade multiple other countries that as well as Venezuela, have problems. These countries are: Colombia, Cuba, and Mexico.
Colombia: Trump stated “Colombia is very sick, too. Run by a sick man who likes making illegal drugs and selling it to the United States, and he’s not going to be doing it very long… ”.
Trump when he says “not going to be doing it very long” indirectly is saying that he himself will put an end to what the Colombian president, Gustavo Petro.
Mexico: “You have to do something with Mexico,” Trump said, “We’re going to have to do something. We’d love Mexico to do it, they’re capable of doing it, but unfortunately the cartels are very strong in Mexico.”
Although not threatening Mexico, he is threatening an infamous gang group popular throughout the nation and offering military assistance.
Cuba: “Cuba is ready to fall. Cuba looks like it’s ready to fall. I don’t know if they’re going to hold out,” Trump states. “But Cuba now has no income. They got all of their income from Venezuela, from the Venezuelan oil. They’re not getting any of it. Cuba is literally ready to fall, and you have a lot of great Cuban Americans who are going to be happy about this.” Senator Lindsey Graham, who traveled with the president, stated that Cuba’s days are “numbered”.
Trump is implying that Cuba will fall and their days are numbered meaning they won't last for long.
